House Moves to Simplify Excise Taxes
Ways & Means Committee introduces legislation to create a flat 1.32 % excise tax for private foundations
The bill introduced by Congressman Danny Davis (D-IL), along with Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH, Co-Chair of the House Philanthropy Caucus) and Congressman John Lewis (D-GA, Chairman of Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee and Co-Chair of House Philanthropy Caucus).
